Donating to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) in memory of a family member or friend that has passed away is a meaningful way to honor them. You can make a significant in memory contribution to the Memorial Fund in the following ways:
- Next of kin, family and friends can request donations in memory at a funeral service
- Create an online memorial or tribute page to share memories about their loved one
- Make a regular or one-off memorial gift to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund themselves;
Donation Requests:
Requesting donations or donations in lieu of flowers at the funeral service of your loved one allows family, friends and guests to give a meaningful gift.
An effective way of letting your guests know of your wishes prior to the service is to include the following words in the funeral notice:
“In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to the:
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 2600 Virginia Ave NW, Suite 104, Washington DC 20037"
We will send a tax deductible receipt to every person who makes a donation in memory at the funeral service, and we will send you, or the nominated next of kin, a summary of everyone that has made a donation in memory.
Your funeral director can arrange to have VVMF donation envelopes at the service, or please feel free to place an online request with us directly.
Make a One-Time Gift Online:
You can make a one-time gift in memory of an individual by clicking here. Be sure to include the person we should notify of the donation. VVMF will not disclose the amount of the donation, only the name(s) of the individual(s) who made a donation in memory.
Create a Memorial Page:
You can create a custom memorial page for an individual. From here you can include photos and special information that you want to share. To get started copy and paste the following URL into your browers or simply click the link:
